History

In 1988 Horst Ziegler (*1941 – †2002) established Eurasdaun as a typical Hamburg import and export company for down and feathers, located close to the Town Hall, the historical warehouse district where the old importers and shipping magnates formerly stored their goods until sale and the Alster river. Modern warehouse facilities in the Hamburg harbour area ensure smooth transportation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
As it is today, Eastern Europe and South East Asia have been the traditional sources of supply.
He met the challenge of the structural change of the market and the feathers business in general at the end of the 20th century, and today the company belongs to the leading exporters of high quality products in Europe.
